How to send Signals

For Signal Providers who already have a Channel. This walkthrough covers composing a Signal, choosing Audience, publishing, and applying Progress Actions.

1. Open your Channel

In the PipAlert app, open the Channel you own (or administer). Signals are published into that Channel's chat so Subscribers can read them.

2. Compose the Signal

Start a new Signal and fill in the trade setup:

  • Pair - the market you are calling
  • Order type - market or pending (limit/stop family)
  • Entry - where the trade is expected to open
  • Stop loss - required risk level for the setup
  • Take-profits - tp1 / tp2 / tp3 levels as needed

3. Choose Audience

Pick which Subscribers should see the Signal: free Subscribers, paid Subscribers, or both. Audience is who the Message is for, not a separate permission system.

4. Publish

Send the Signal. Subscribers on that Audience receive it in chat (and can get a push alert). Market BUY/SELL Signals start active; limit/stop family Signals start pending until the first non-terminal Progress Action.

5. Apply Progress Actions

As the trade develops, advance the live Signal with Progress Actions. Typical steps:

  • Mark a take-profit hit (tp1 / tp2 / tp3)
  • Move stop loss (including break even as move stop to entry or beyond)
  • Record stoploss hit
  • Close the Signal (optionally with a current price)

Hitting the last take-profit closes the Signal by default (profit) unless you choose to keep it open. Close is profit if any take-profit was hit; otherwise it is loss. Stoploss hit is loss. Signal Status is derived from these actions - you do not paint a separate status color.

What this guide does not cover

Channel creation and Package pricing are separate. See the help center or apply to become a Signal Provider in the app.
