What is Fibonacci extension?
Fibonacci extension projects upside or downside targets beyond a completed swing using ratios such as 1.618.
Fibonacci extension projects targets beyond a prior swing. Common wave 3 extensions of wave 1 include 1.618 and 2.618; wave 5 often relates to 0.618 or equality with wave 1.
