What is Stop loss?

A stop loss is the protective exit price on a trade. PipAlert Signals always include one so Subscribers can see planned risk.

A stop loss is the price level where a trade is closed to limit loss if the market moves against the setup. On PipAlert, every Signal includes a stop loss so Subscribers see the planned risk before they enter.

Progress Actions can move stop loss (including to break even) as a Signal develops. Stoploss hit is a terminal Progress Action that marks the Signal as a loss for Signal Status.

Never size a position without knowing stop distance in pips. Combine stop-loss pips with pip value in the risk calculator to keep account risk consistent across Channels.
