What is Break even?

Break even means the stop loss has been moved to entry (or slightly beyond by direction) so a full stop would exit near flat on the position, ignoring spread and fees.

On PipAlert, break even is not a separate Progress Action. Providers use move stop loss to entry or above/below entry depending on trade direction.

Break-even management reduces open risk after a take-profit is hit, but it does not guarantee profit—spreads and gaps can still produce a small loss.
