What is Corrective wave?
A corrective wave counters the larger trend—often zigzags, flats, triangles, or combinations.
A corrective wave moves against the larger trend and often forms three-wave structures (or combinations). Common families include zigzags, flats, and triangles.
Corrections are where many traders wait for entries into the next impulse. Wave C of an ABC is a frequent counter-trend or continuation setup depending on context.
On PipAlert, a Trade Idea may discuss a correction while a later Signal publishes the exact entry and stop once the structure completes.
