What is Flat correction?

A flat is an A-B-C correction where B retraces deeply into A and C often retests or exceeds A's extreme.

A flat correction is an A-B-C structure where wave B typically retraces most or all of A, and wave C often finishes near or beyond the end of A (regular, expanded, or running variants).

Expanded flats can trap traders who expect a simple pullback. Invalidation beyond the flat's extremes is a common stop basis.

If a Channel Signal cites a flat, confirm which variant and whether take-profits sit at typical C equalities or extensions of A.
